Blah.
That's pretty much my current mood. Just bored. Bored with work. Bored with where I live. Just bored. I really love working third shift, I just hate where I'm working it. Taconic... just sucks. Don't get me wrong its wonderful to be working and working at an ISP where I have internet access and such. I'm just not liking here as much as I did AlbanyNet or even BizOnline. Not to mention the whole being here by myself all night. It makes the night a bit longer.
My online RPG's are keeping me somewhat sane, however. Two of them have reached a year. My game set in Albany reached a year last month and my Wild West game reached a year the begining of this month. This is fairly long term for an online game and both of them are going quite well. Still enjoying Simpons Hit and Run. If I had the spare cash this is a game I would buy, but I don't so I wont. SSX3 came out last week, Tony Hawk's Underground comes out next week. Both games I'm interested in and will rent. Both of them are games I would love to own. Oh well.
As for DVD's there is a lot out I would really love to own, but it's not going to be happening anytime soon. Let's see there is the Indiana Jones Box Set. I want this quite badly. I love the movies and my VHS copies are dead. I want to get Simpons Season 3, Futurama Season 2, Alias Season 1 and Angel Season 2. However none of thats going to happen. In December Firefly is supposed to be on DVD as is Season 5 of Buffy. Both things I will want to get my hands on.
Still not reading really. Way too many distractions between TV, computer, video games, people in the house and me just wanting to be elsewhere. Just a pain in the ass. I've got to make time. Somehow. I need to get back to reading.
About the only thing keeping me sane right now at work is music. I ripped pretty much my entire CD collection at work over the past two weekends through iTunes. Currently listening to my comedy mix. Got a bunch of Weird Al, some various songs from the 20th Anniversary Doctor Demento collection and my Green Jello CD from 1992. I have a whole bunch of other music on the computer, but I'm only in the mood for my comedy music. Wish I had more. Wish I could afford some stuff from the music store.
Well this has been another fairly pointless ramble, but thats nothing new from me. So much of what I have to say is pointless. I'm just an average person, trying to live an average life. Something I can't even seem to do very well.
