Life, the Universe and Everything...

Well let's see.  First off my father still doesn't have a car.  It has been two weeks since the engine died.  Supposedly the place he got it from is trying to replace the engine, but so far nothing.  He has to call today to find out if he can pick up the car.  If he can't then I wont be going to work this weekend.  If he can then obviously I will be going to work.  This could really suck.


On a happier note my two Buffy the Vampire Slayer RPG's are going quite well.  I'm going to be running a third one over IRC and also may be doing some playtesting for another game by the people who make the BTVS RPG.  Of the two I currently run my favorite is the game set in Albany at this point named Tales of the Albany Hunters.  It's got a good group of players and characters.  Due to it being an online game I have a had a large amount of players coming and going.  Currently I have three people I feel are reliable and a new person joining in the next week or so.  If anyone out there is bored you can read the edited (for readability) log files here:

They are kindly edited by one of my players during his free time.  Not that he will probably read this, but I wanted to again say thanks to Justin Fielder for taking the time of editing these for me.  Mainly due to the fact I am not a good editor myself.  Plus am just too lazy to sit down and edit them.

The game may or may not be an interesting read and it is a far from perfect story, but I try.  The players are enjoying it and to me that is the most important part of running a game.

80's Cheese...

Sitting here watching American Ninja 2 on one of the movie channels.  Ahh the cheesey 80's ninja movies.  So much fun, but so often so painful to watch.  The poorly choreographed fight scenes, the poorly timed sound effects.  Once upon a time I lived for these things.

Well my father called the place that is "working" on the car, but still no news on it.  He's supposed to call back in a couple hours.  They need to replace the engine, which is about a days work. Which is fine, but it has been a week and a half.  They claim they can not give him a temporary car because it is illegal.  So I had to call in to work and tell them I wont be making it in this weekend.  Which of course does not make them happy.  So all in all life is looking fairly bad.  Hope someone out there is having a good day because so far I'm not and it's ony noon.
