So far work has not gone well. First off I get in and find out my desk is locked. Which is a real problem since I don't have a key for it and was never given one. I didn't know anyone during the week used the desk. This is bad because all my work papers are in there, my tea and cup is in there and a few other things. Really pissed me off. I kicked the drawer and left a dent in it. Secondly I find out my phone isn't working. It rings just fine, but I can not hear anything. I check the volume and such, everything looks fine. I try another handset and cord with it. Same thing. So I move to another desk and settle in here. I moved my bookmarks to the new machine. Not to mention the fact from 10PM until midnight it was busy as hell here. Constant phone calls. Ugh.
Hopefully in the morning I might be able to find out why my desk is locked and maybe get a key to open it. Hopefully. All in all I'm not what one would call a happy camper.
It's also cold as hell in here. I'll probably end up having to wear my jacket all night. I have no idea where the thermostat is. Blech.
