It's getting to the point where I don't even feel bad that I can't afford to read comics any more. It seems more and more that killing off supporting characters is the only way to develop change in a character.

While I haven't read any of Cry For Justice everything I've heard is bad. What really gets me is the fact they seem to have felt the need to kill off the young (8-10 year old) daughter of Roy "Speedy/Red Arrow/Arsenal" Harper to get Green Arrow to kill the big bad.

It's bad enough to feel this need to kill off supporting characters. However when that supporting character is a child it makes it seem so much more pointless. To top it off they decided they needed to blow up Star City too. What the fuck is it with DC and destroying cities? Gah. Just seem to be too much death and destruction in comics any more. while I don't have a problem with some it seems it is everywhere in comics and just seems to be getting worse.

I don't want everything to be happiness and light, but come on. Enough is enough.
