Just finished watching this evenings Law & Order. I had no idea Jerry Orbach (Det. Lennie Briscoe) was leaving the show. He was the heart of the show and it will not be the same without him. I've done some looking around and it looks like he is going to be moving over to a new L&O series which mostly focuses on the Court side of things. He wanted something that would be a little less stressful since he's getting older. The new L&O series is L&O: Trial by Jury and doesn't start until 2005. So probably it'll come in as a mid-season replacement. No idea who is going to replace Jerry on L&O.
