I got a call from my contact at ComSys IT (a temp agency/contract company/whatever) and they might have a job for me. It's in downtown Albany, which is good, but the only problem is the job requires a valid NYS Drivers License, which I don't have due to my issues with driving. However she is going to see if they will consider me anyways due to the fact the job does not require any driving. She also said I am overqualified for the job, she didn't explain the job to clearly, but it sounded like installing software on PCs. I told her that even if I am overqualified I would take it. It pays $12.50 an hour, which is decent.
So at this point I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
