So today at Taconic I come in and try to enter my final two weeks into the payroll system only to find that I'm no longer in the system. So my supervisor is emailing people to try and get my hours entered so I can get payed. I better get this final paycheck or there is going to be hell to pay. Since payroll has to be submitted by tomorrow I'm pretty worried I wont be getting this pay check this week. Which will really suck since I was hoping to use this taconic check to take care of some debt with some friends. Stupid crap. :(
Monday through Thursday morning I spent training at my new job. Thursday afternoon I spent listening to calls. Today I spent the morning listening, but entering the tickets and doing the actual password resets for customers. After lunch I was doing the talking and the password resets. My "mentor" was just listening in. In general he said I was doing good and getting the hang of the system. Hopefully by monday or tuesday I will be taking calls by myself at my own desk. I'm fairly nervous about doing that despite the fact I've been doing help desk my entire working career Odd.
